Good point.

I hope you’re right, and I agree with you entirely.

Nope, it’s not the worst thing in the world. It’s pretty fucking bad though, especially when the guy had promised repeatedly that nothing like this would ever happen again.

Christ, it’s like commenting on the Daily Mail. For the record, as a parent, you want to keep your boners away from your children.

My best friend is an A&E doctor, I’ve heard it all. As long as the child didn’t wake up, this is not so bad. But the thing is, people like Weiner get bolder and bolder. It wouldn’t be long before worse would be happening.

Yeah, it does go to his parenting ability. Photographing yourself with an erection is not something that should be done in front of your children.

Did you miss the part where he was sexting teenagers next to his sleeping child?

Huma. Honey. He’s not good for you. He’s not good for your son. You haven’t failed, I promise. You are doing what is best for your family. Don’t let him back in.

Oh yes, it’s the peril of the popular brand. You don’t want to be associated with any particular era. Burberry (discussed elsewhere here, I think) has been one such casualty. In the 80s, it was Swatch where I lived (I do remember Movado though).

Ivana. She did really well when she worked in Trump’s businesses, and he screwed her over in the divorce. Any semblance of business savvy Ivanka possesses comes from her.

Patek Philippe? I will say that there’s nothing wrong with Rolexes. (Legitimate ones).

Given that Trump essentially stalked Harry’s mother, I’m not surprised.

Well, it’s certainly a minority opinion if you’re saying that service in WWII (for the Allies) was not an admirable thing.

I was responding to the following comment: “I’m not inclined to excuse him because of his age or military experience. We don’t do that with the elderly people in this country.”

If by “people,” you mean me, I didn’t promote him. He was in the black already. (And this is by far the most support I’ve ever had on Jez when I’ve defended Prince Philip, it was by no means assured).

By all accounts, they both loved the Obamas.

“I’m not inclined to excuse him because of his age or military experience. We don’t do that with the elderly people in this country.”

Oh, please let you be from the USA. If that’s the case, then let me list the appalling elderly people you have excused, starting with Saint Ronnie of Reagan himself. After him, of course, we have Henry Kissinger, Donald Rumsfeld, and old “shot a man in the face” Dick Cheney. Not to mention George HW Bush and Robert

I’d like to see how polite you’d be after 70 years of royal service. Obviously I don’t like the racism, but it’s not unknown in people of his generation (see the “J” word used by every US serviceman in WWII, virtually without exception). As for the sexism, he’s walked one step behind the Queen for his entire life.
