On the plus side, he's improving. There was a Target card included (which I strongly suspect Grandma stuck in) but no amount marked.

Kudos on your laid back plans. That's what we did at the State Park where my family traditionally has our reunions as well and it was lovely. Just prepare yourself for the disbelief from the "wedding industry" about how casual you are about things.
