You may be right in terms of all Super Bowl era history. But my Bills are in the midst of the most pathetic 16 year run in sports history, if you ask me. The last time the Bills made the playoffs I was in 5th grade. I’m 27. The league is designed for parity and the Bills have only gotten 9 wins twice in that stretch.

In general, it’s always better to knock as an extra courtesy, even if it’s a useless gesture.

The inexplicable reason being that every team HAS to nominate someone, and not every team has somebody coming back from catastrophic injury. If it weren’t required, Sabres wouldn’t have nominated anyone.

In fairness, the replay in baseball is tediously slow way too often. I prefer calls to be right, but its also a downer when you can’t get really excited for a big play in baseball, football, and now hockey because you’re just waiting for the challenge.
