Sounds like an ingenious tourism idea to me. Take a trip of the US- taste all of our state hotdogs and view all of our state birds. I am totally on board with this.

So true. I also get the weirdest looks at metal concerts because I do not look like a metal fan. Neither does my husband so people always look at use like we wandered into the wrong show. Now, in fairness, I'm not the biggest metalhead either, but my husband is and so I've seen him grilled like you do. Just because

I love this bit about good colleges. Yeah, your Ivies are great, but depending on the program you're looking at, might not be any better than any other school, especially if you're looking at cost vs what you might be paid after. I say this a former student of a not so great public school who went to a public

That's exactly why my school started weighing AP grades. In the class rankings, there was a big group of people who had 4.0s, but spent their entire senior year doing easy classes. Our school was also affiliated with a vo-tech, and the grades got skewed from that, because several classes were pass/fail.

The last I heard, they were working on a Polynesian one. There was a big casting call for voices not too long ago that my actor friends were going apeshit over.

I assumed it would be a movie version of the Broadway show?

Yeah, my ring didn't cost half that and is super nice. We also didn't have a band, so if you did your wedding just like we did, you'd cut off like, $5000 from the average just with those things. And my parents insisted on a pretty big wedding.

My undergrad university's instate tuition was $8000ish a semester and was on the cheaper end of everywhere I looked- which was primarily the Midwest. So... yeah, I need to know where the $14, 300 a year places are too.

Every time I see this, as a former child cellist, I understand. A) that damn cello was bigger than me until high school. B) it is the worst cello song ever.

I agree with this. I've always assumed Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson were trying to capture certain sounds so they do sound like other bands, but can do it without copying. They're playing with genres and honestly, one of the reasons I like both of them is because they do expand on genres of music I already like.

Masseys is delicious, I can't argue that.

It may not be the best pizza in C-bus (and I know it's not) but I, to this day, am a major sucker for Donatos pizza. I love the excessive amount of toppings and the super crispy pepperoni. It tastes like childhood and happiness.

Yeah, I think that GOT does good trailers. Also, even if you're not a fan, you have to admit that there is some great acting and production going on here that just makes it look all kinds of awesome.

My mom made us a nice brunch-y spread to go with our mimosas, but I don't remember if I ate much. I do remember that by the time we were halfway through pictures, I was STARVING and my father in law, genius saint man that he is, went and got a bunch of sandwiches from Subway/the grocery store (I straight up don't

George W was there, so one, at least. I think there were about 100 congress people there, so I imagine another republican might have slipped in.

This is kinda how I feel. The Marvel guys have to gruelingly change their bodies and totally alter their lives for months. Anne Hathaway's diet for Les Mis was insane and Christian Bale fluctuates 60lbs between some roles. Lily James wore a corset for a few days and ate soup while in costume.

Notice I said a reason, not the reason. Going to year round school models typically involve longer vacations of 3-4 weeks instead of 3 months. I'm sure most families could make the adjustments for what they do during the current summer breaks. I think the benefits really, in the long run, out weigh the negatives,

This is a reason I really think schools should just go year round. More holidays during the year helps break things up without the brain drain that happens in the summer.

Eh, I actually was pretty not awkward at 14 but I don't have her underlying bone structure and even with a stylist would not have then, nor would I now, look this pretty. I'm cool with that.

Seriously, I'm team Noel Gallagher. I listened to an interview with him yesterday and he was pretty cool. Like blunt, sure, but he seemed pretty appreciative of the fact that he got famous and still makes money doing music. He's pretty serious about his work and doesn't seem to like the trappings of celebrity so comes
