My partner has 80k miles on a Veloster and other than interior wear, it’s been bulletproof. Zero problems with routine maintenance. Only quibble has been it’s tendency to eat tires every 30k miles.

I put 150k miles on a 2006 Elantra, and the only problem I ever had was the radiator springing a leak. $50 to fix it. Seriously, that was it. I’m also not terribly gentle on any of my cars. Single-handedly the most reliable car I’ve ever owned.

I drive a near 7 year old Hyundai and I abuse the shit out of it. Still like new.
