I... I don’t know that I’ve ever read or heard such a scathing condemnation of someone expressing the notion that language is best used with care and not warped in an unwitting effort to make everything seem better.

ACTUALLY, even assuming a soul exists, let alone could be crushed, his “take” has no physical properties which would allow for any such “crushing”.

This “awesome” thing is kind of ridiculous, but, I was infuriated after I recently watched two episodes of The Best Thing I Ever Ate on Food Network, and the same person was featured on both episodes.

Back in my day, the English language didn’t evolve or change over time!

Sigh.

You can’t adapt The Talisman into just one bloody movie. It’s too sprawling, too dense and episodic. One movie just can’t cover the story and do it justice, not even if you’re Spielberg.

Which, that’s fine, whatever, but if we’re doing a new thing and nobody told me, that I’d have a problem with.
