500 Days of Sumner

One life, regardless of any crimes committed, exists independently. The other is completely dependent on another human being, literally implanted in her body. Therein lies the difference.

SCOTUS has said that a woman has a right to have an abortion, but lots of state legislatures don't give a fuck. Large segments of the US population are nostalgic for the Dark Ages. I don't see that changing any time soon.

Yeah, funny how that works. If your family is the victim, you need someone to blame, often whether or not the evidence is 100%. If your family is the accused, they’re innocent, they could never do something like that. I know not everyone feels this way, and plenty of people are able to think logically and/or

I've had a family member wrongfully convicted and imprisoned. I'm sorry for your loss, but an irreversible punishment requires a flawless system. Being mistakenly executed is horrifying.

You have no problem because your family member was murdered? That’s fucked up.

And that’s why we don’t let the victim or their family choose the punishment for the criminal. :/

One of things I hope for most dearly is that the death penalty will be abolished in my lifetime. Not the feckless, useless, piecemeal state by state abolition, but the federal government actually stepping up and saying no more. I hate this shit. It’s WRONG.

Hi, I’m Squishy Around The Middle.

“I offered to have sex with the vacant, unresponsive man but he didn’t respond so I left.”

If Sumner was non-responsive to any kind of communication, he was being sexually assaulted.

Patti Stanger is truly awful.

Maybe if you don’t understand you shouldn’t write condescending articles about it? This is basically the diet of many people in Asia which doesn’t usually include “white sugar, white flour, MSG, caffeine, fungus, dairy, peppers, tomatoes, or eggplants” - except for perhaps the mushrooms and WHITE sugar(Palm sugar,

“Hi, I’m Skinny”

I don’t think I would mind a restricted diet that much if I had a personal nutritionist and chef. For me, one of the hardest parts of keeping an eye on my diet is planning and preparation, but I’ll eat (almost) anything that's put in front of me.

I think at some point you also get used to the restrictions/deprivations. Like when people say that they don’t crave “junk” food anymore after being on a diet for a length of time. In fact, if they have gone long enough without eating those foods, some people do not even enjoy the taste anymore (too fatty, too sweet,

Are you not people who enjoy food at all? I understand not everyone loves sweets, or meat, or bread and don’t miss them in their diet...but to be voluntarily restricted in this way, all the time? It sounds like such a sad way to live your life.

tom cant eat those things because heis in fact a fancy dog

Breakfast in the tropics would be the only time I could deL with that hell diet. Big bowl of fresh tropical fruit, yum.

I don’t miss dairy or meat at all. I actually have an aversion to dairy now because it causes some serious stomach pains. But no peppers?! No tomatoes?! No mushrooms?! No coffee?! I couldn’t do it. I don’t envy anyone who can’t chow down on a bomb ass stir fry or some fajitas.
