The combat is fun; the very non 90s FPS touchy feely crap in between is absolutely awful

Exactly. You don’t get this kind of sustained flak from paying customers unless something is very wrong with your game. 

Well apparently they are meaningful or the dev wouldn’t be responding. The game is in truly a terrible state.

Well they could make an expansion where you’re the Ukranian SS from WW2. 

Operation Flashpoint Resistance and ArmA 2 were far better than ArmA 1 and 3. This sounds like it might be the disaster on console OFP Elite was. 

It appears valve has done 0 to rectify this a year later
