So… I'm pumped for this, but it's been a good decade since I watched any of it. Think a rewatch up to the reveal of who killed Laura would suffice. Or should I just watch it all again?

Is it even fair to call the end of Alive a solo? The lead is, well, the lead, but the whole deal is just fantastic. In 1992, it was devastating.
Not a damned thing wrong with I am the Highway.
Yeah, and Cantrell prob deseves more than a little recognition, too.
Arm and Lanegan, too. But I just view the 4 a little differently.
It's sad to think of it, but that's the Rushmore, right? Nirvana, AIC, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden. And three of the frontmen dead by their own hand. Technically not Staley, but that's all but semantics.
The internet is largely a place for vitriol, I suppose. Easier to let loose on an awful person than reflect much on what is a truly depressing loss.
Oh, just… fuck this.
As hit/miss as that was, it would've been a bold move.
l half expected Meredith to briefly pause, roll her eyes, and continue marching undeterred into the hospital.
Her real name isn't even Jo Wilson, right? I don't think this is made up, but she's not the most reliable character.
B+ eyeroll, total F for giving this curdled toe jam a platform. When Trump cites Fake News, he can always point to whenever gives one of his vacant eyed lackeys a voice and be 100% correct.
Extreme wings are a given, and not too alarming. The scary thing is the selfish, stubborn, and stupid supporters that root for Trump as though they are rooting for their favorite NFL team. Who knows what it would take to shake their support.
Minnick wins "The Worst" because the acting is terrible. The actresses that play Maggie, Amelia, and even Jo have all proven to be capable at times in the past.
Nope. But tonight I rather assumed they were just in bed. And I'll gladly suspend my disbelief on this front. I don't need a weekly scene of Meredith dropping the kids off at daycare or calling the nanny or whatever. Once every 4-5 episodes is fine.
Prob had Charlie (hilariously) eating up time because the cast isn't fully fleshed out yet. Heck, like any pilot, I wouldn't be 100% the new characters we did meet are coming back full time.
I suppose that's your call. As you wish.
There are humorless, self-important liberals as well. And while they can still come off as smug, I find myself siding with just about all of them these days.
In the past, I've occasionally found the uber liberals somewhat outputting. And I hesitate to paint with broad strokes, but I think I've got the bottom line in this two-party system:
Oh, the mixture of pure confusion/joy I felt when the credits hit! Perhaps the most genuinely surprised I've been at a television show in years. Small stakes, perhaps, but still…
