So, let's move Maggie out of the spotlight for a bit. The actress is capable enough, so now let's write the character as mature and off the A plot for a while. She doesn't need to pout or whine about anything, so now she can slowly build up some good will.

And, uh, dead sister.

Best show the radio side had going. I always viewed it as a promotion for SVP, so I never got upset about it. I like Rusillo, and I actually liked Kanell. Adnan Virk was hosting the timeslot today. He's not terrible, but I'm not tuning in for the super-sub if that's the plan.

Recently heard Cowherd weighing in on it briefly, noting that they are moving away from Sportscenter. I was dismayed at first, but then realized I haven't watched SC with my full attention since Van Pelt's first episode of the new, late night version. I love Van Pelt, and have nothing against M. Smith or J. Hill,

Not offensive or antthing, but hate to give the child any sort ammunition, no matter how trivial.

Guess my humor has worn thin on that one. It was better the first 80 times when it was legit and not so easily proven inaccurate and, dare I say, kind of Trumpian in its pettiness.

I first saw the pic and wondered why they bothered. Even if a dozen or so less NFL players showed up vs. last time, who cares?

So fatigued by this peice of shi-tut. What's the point of any of this? He's clearly more miserable than anybody.

I don't watch Scandal. Is it possible this is just another cloying character she has to write about? Also, Amelia is typically written as neck and neck with Maggie as being "the worst". And this Minnick chick hasn't exactly been written about glowingly. Or Jo for that matter…

Meredith is also the show's titular character and has about a decade of good will built up with the audience. Maggie went from "fine, I guess" to "can she be on my screen less" rather quickly, so she hasn't earned any free pass.

I thought that at first too but then realized he's sort of speaking from experience. Bottom line, no, it's not his place, but I think he wass meant to come off as sincere and correct in his assessment.

It did a nice job of pointing out all the two have in common, and they aren't awful to watch. Still just 'eh, okay' about them, but I suppose it's best we move this forward already. Are we really supposed to have a speck sympathy for Maggie after we see Mer is ready to move on (and after we flash back through her

But still a great Soundgarden lyric…

The Robin Williams/LL Cool J film, not to be confused with the Richard Pryor/Jackie Gleason film The Toy which has its own… objectionable qualities.

I liked it, but I remember our local theater posted a disclaimer offering full refunds within the first 20 min or something like that. So you aren't alone.

Toys. Part of me wants to see it again, but shit. I'm literally dating myself when i say I was 14 when I saw this in the theater. But it was awful. Maybe I just didn't get it?

So… that clown sketch was straight borrowed from Tig Notaro? I presume she's big enough and on solid enough terms with CK for this to be exposure/homage?

This was good, but Tig Notaro's 'adult hiring a clown' was stronger in my opinion.

I'm waiting for the meteor..

But how do they keep Meredith and Riggs apart if Maggie isn't in the way? Too early to bring in his long lost wife… oh shit, it's April. Might be just about that time, right?
