It is borderline incestuous given their utter lack of chemistry. Robbie is best in small doses. And Nelson Franklin is much funnier in Blackish.

This time, sure. But he should've dipped out on the flake long ago. His mistake. My point was the idea of Deluca/Jo is already stirring crickets so I can't imagine the show will waste too much time on them. But it would be a nice way to end the tired Alex/Jo thing as well.

Didn't Alex punch that other intern a few seasons back? The one that his father died on? Seems like it would be lazy fire that not to come up a bit more. Seems like the only way this ends is DeLuca dropping the charges.

Didn't Bailey straight up ignore a DNR last season? The show barely took a beat to acknowledge that that was a huge no-no and she should have been immediately stripped of her title as chief.

Jo/DeLuca can be forgiven if it sets Alex free for good. Maybe he catches them in a compromising situation, starts to get angry, and realizes once and for all she's clearly poison for him. Then when her husband shows up, he can just smile at DeLuca and say "Your problem, bro."

They should've written this arc for a less charismatic actor, then. Or maybe that's why they chose him?. 12 years of rooting for a character is bound to win out over a writers decision to elevate what I presumed was going to be punch up that left DeLuca with a black eye or maybe a chipped tooth into a beatdown that

'When you're white' indicates there are times when you aren't. What kind of extra features you got on your time machine, friend?

The Hives! Unfortunately, most folks at the bar don't heed the cue "Troy Green" and my wife and I are left the rock out on our lonesome.

I actually found Fox to be pretty flat and not particularly strong with the bounty of good one liners she was given . Thought she was stronger with the semi heartfelt stuff. The show used to spread the wise ass stuff around. Even Jess had sharp corners back in S2-3.

I enjoy him in his brief, sad sack appearances. The character will have to be altered considerably to be viable for the show's main character. Plus the whole already been with Cece and Nadia thing just icks me out a bit.

I thought this was going to be a storyline. When it happened, it seemed like Jess got him his job back, but it was going to be different in some way. The show has always been pretty loose with the money they all make. Schmidt is either rich or poor depending on what the storyline demands.

This is why the looming Jess/Robby thing bums me out. Jess in "relationship of the week" mode gets stale quick. These type of mini adventures is what I would like to see from her this season. There's still hope, I suppose.

I miss her edge. They tried to give it to the Megan Fox character last season, but Hannah Simone was just much, much better at it.

This ain't sweeps. You gotta save your dual Wayans family appearances for special occasions.

I did appreciate the brother/sister vibe between Schmidt/Jess. And not just the "Schmidt, Schmidt, Schmidt, Schmidt- Shut up, asshat" bit. She just had his back instantly, and it felt second nature. They sometimes struggle with their dynamic, but they got it right this time.

Yeah, I watch both shows and the 'crossover' aspect was weak on the B99 side. It was 30 seconds of "hey, Zooey Deschanel" that really doesnt impact anything. The NG 'crossover' was a bit better because it actually incorporated 3 characters from the 99 while being important to the story, but it didnt elevate

In the course of 4 episodes, Jess has gone from dating Dr. Sam to being in love with Nick to developing instant feelings for an acquaintance she's never blinked at (and who has been portrayed as a huge loser). Jess is getting pretty sad. Strange way to treat your main character.

They started dating, broke up, and have never even come remotely close to getting back together. The past two seasons are utterly forgettable, but they've hardly even interacted, so it can't be blamed on them.

Schmidt and Cece are already married.

This was very well done. Whew, but intense. I had to watch a little American Horror Story before bed to lighten things up.
