Nick clearly spends time on GoT message boards, etc.

He would've been great as a nemesis to the whole gang. Someone who is totally impervious and not charmed by their antics.
At first I thought that a bit gimmicky to no purpose. But then I realized Sam and Jess would have clearly talked about this before. Jess being Jess, there would be no reason for it to be pointed out to the audience ahead of time, let alone be made into a big deal.
Absolutely. It also doesn't hurt when she's actually given a few great lines, either.
Yeah, certainly don't think she's leading him on. But the writers will be best served to have Sam end things this time around.
Even though as viewers we may see the writing on the wall, Jess doesn't want to be with Nick in these episodes. But yeah. No idea why Sam would want any part of this situation, though.
Pepperwood was great. The whole episode had a fun, free energy to it. The 'pogo' thing was the kind of loose, kind of dumb B-plot the last two seasons have seemed to strive to match. But that one felt natural and easy, where they sometimes just feel lacking now.
"I made Billy my baby. I made that little bitch a bottle."
It's almost as though some of the stink of last week's episode lingered a bit for Jeff Day, though I thought the test drive was more a mixed bag than a total miss. The fact that Helmet was vastly superior is certainly true, though the whole back to back had a crescendo effect.
I seem to remember Dr. Cameron having something of a driftless period on House before being sent on her way. A lot of characters did on that show, but they tended to return to prominence eventually. I suppose at the very least Jennifer Morrison returned for the series finale.
Yeesh, Community Graders. Harsh…
Good grief, had Ben beg around that long?
Do Ben/Bailey have a kid together? I seriously don't know. Feels like Tuck should be driving soon….
The head of security's lack of hustle as his ID badge was stolen was 1.) hilarious, and 2.) less than reassuring for any potential future lockdown.
I've never really thought much of April and Jackson as a couple. But I will friggin commission a 'Japril 4-eva' t-shirt if that last scene means we can avoid suffering through that custody battle.
I thought perhaps Owen as a vet would've vouched for a degree of tunnel vision or something. But they all seemed 100% skeptical, yet took him at his word.
I think the break up, aftermath, and friendship thereafter are just so, so lacking in anything fun or interesting that it's pretty hard to see them together any time soon. Problem is, the Ryan, Reagan, Kai, and Sams of the world are even more unconvincing. My preference would be to see them find their way back to…
I watched every episode of Scrubs, but I have zero recollection of how it ended with JD and Elliott. So I hope for something more memorable for Jess and Nick, whatever it may be. But you're right. The writers need to remember why they scaled Jess back in the first place. She excelled at the straight person…
Re watched the episode, and it didn't get any better. In fact, the B story (which I think got more time) got much, much worse. Schmidt pronounced things funny, and Winston made the most of his time, but the rest was straight D. I don't even think they bothered with a script and just had Deschanel to flop around a…
It's all a bit much, and it's not confined to Jess. They've all been broadened to a degree lately, and I personally liked them all as they were.
