Prob is, now they've got a bunch of NG episodes and no other comedies to pair it with. They'll start doubling up the episodes soon, and I imagine it's inevitable that ratings continued to slowly skip.

The show has never been very good with follow through. Has Jess's sister ever been mentioned again? And since when is being a news anchor Cece's dream job? You can see the plot lines being put in place for the rest of the season, but even Jess quitting is pretty abrupt. And principal Fosters ankle injury apparently…
Jess kicking the vuvuzela out of Cece's hand made for a fantastic and character appropriate little temper tantrum.
I've been down on Nick this year, but he has been walking that tricky line much more successfully the last two episodes.
Pretty sure he means current shows. Scrubs was on forever.
Young Jess naively walking towards the spoonful of 'rock candy' was a great gag, but the masterful cut made it outstanding.
Strong ep. When Jess left, I figured Cece would be given an increased role. But then Reagan showed and the writers tried to give all the sharp biting lines to her, and Cece just kind of fell back to being Schmidt's gf. Back to back strong eps. Just… be careful with the guest arcs, writers, and we'll be aces.
Again, the rewatchabilty of this episode is prob the best of the season. (Although Taryn Killams sobriety test was solid). Reagan was only ever a series of quips anyway, so that can easily be divied up amongst the other characters now that she's gone. The key is to keep Jess' stories within the group and limit the…
I remember the Super Bowl scene where Coach was going hard with a straight up mini-commercial for the Fusion (or whatever model) he was driving. I think it ended with Nick threatening to punch him.
Yeah, prob availability.
The "I meant something like that," from old Nick on this very show was pretty good, too.
Jess started off a bit big but she quickly settled in and it was a reminder why she anchors the show. I just hope they let her play with Winston/Cece/Schmidt/Nick for a while and don't just send her off with the guest star of the week. If not every episode, at least must of them.
Funny, I actually think Nick had been awful of late, his slurred, stammering uncomfortable ad-libbing has been producing diminishing results for some time now. And Schmidt and Cece have their mini adventures week after week with forgettable antics and resolutions. This used to be the most rewatchable show on the…
The blacked out, Zuul voiced love connection was as freely as I've laughed at this show in a long while. Perhaps it was helped by the momentum of the rest of the episode, but either way, my wife laughed so hard we had to rewind. Martin was a bit wasted, but it was damned good the have Deschanel back. Winston is…
Deschanel is an EP on the show, so she was partially responsible for casting Fox. Even mentioned so in a recent interview. Also, the ratings have dropped about 400,0000 in the demo since Deschanel left. If anything she should ask for a raise. Fun gossip fare, though.
I think the cast was front to back stronger in episodes 1-5, and would've liked to see the extra time Reagan is getting given to them. Nick in particular has been terribly unfunny, though today was better.
Not particularly. Again, it's not ruining anything, just doesn't add much for me. Something a little off about her style of deadpan that just repeatedly misses for me.
Keeps me tuning in. Usually.
I've seen this Reagan character before. On this show, even. It writes itself, leaves no lasting mark, but does no damage either. Show would've been better off to let the regular cast shine on their own for a while. But this series isn't about story or character anymore, so no harm done. And Winston Bishop can…
Thought by this grade, the episode would've been great. But it was just the same mediocrity as last week. If not for Winston/Ally and the line about spanakopita, this was a straight C.
