Apples to oranges. This isn't the same show anymore.

I'd say after 2 episodes Reagan is already stale. Don't blame Fox, but these last two episodes miss me.
I think she does better with the 'geniune' stuff. Her delivery is just wooden enough at the comedy that it just misses the mark.
Well, that wasn't very good at all. Even Winston couldn't bail them out of that slop.
Wait, guy didn't say which Schwartman performance, did he? Is guy suggesting that J.S. has but one speed? Scoundrel!
Nice moment from Karev. When we first saw him arrive on the scene, I was anticipating him to react with blustery rage. The quiet tears were unexpected and terrifically affecting.
Did Meredith blame her? I thought she was mad because they were in the midst of a shitty patch and she didn't check in on her while she was recovering.
I like Jo fine. I was really worried they were going to have Alex drift towards Meredith's newest sister last season, and I wasn't too thrilled with that.
I am against the idea that just because two leads get together, it is a an automatic "trope". There are plenty of good, logical, and entertaining ways/ reasons for that to happen. Logistically, it allows you to explore a relationship more deeply than a 3-5 episode guest contract will allow. And it often allows for…
It's all retread, though. Nick's been talking about his 'grown up moves' for two and a half seasons now. This doesn't feel different to me. Winston has been working on his lady troubles since Shelby in S1. Also, not different. Schmidt and Cece getting married is fine, but they wasted a huge opportunity to address…
I don't think the batting average has changed much. But they are throwing a lot more at us, joke wise. Just doesn't have the expert zing of Happy Endings or the twisted edge of Always Sunny. Without the character and heart I once loved, it's just lacking.
Yeah, miss the show having direction. Miss caring about the characters. Just so long as they keep her away from dull love interests. She was as good as anyone on the show until she got sacrificed to that British guy last year.
Just not doing much for me. Fox was fine, but the continued lack of momentum/stakes is losing me a bit. I read an article summarizing S4-5 as a bunch of talented actors yelling jokes, just hoping some larger than average percentage actually land. It's usually funny enough, but I can't say I look forward to this show…
It's me! Bertie!
One thing the writers seem to have learned from the over use of Nick and Jess is to not force the romantic relationships to the point of overkill. While their wedding is in the background of every episode, Schmidt and Cece are pretty much an afterthought. I was worried Cece was just going to become 'the girlfriend',…
My go to was going to be Coach from Cheers, but I'm not 100% he was 'from' Boston.
I dunno, it kind of lagged. It would build momentum, and lose it quickly. The sentiment just seems forced lately, but Greenfield and Morris do just enough to carry it to a solid enough outcome.
I think it'll be renewed for a final season. But the ratings have already begun to slide. This past Deschanel-less episode already down 0.3 from its highest point this season, and we're only talking about 4 episodes here. Also, ABC and NBC haven't been airing there standard, first run lineup. And, despite Johnson…
I don't think the show is successful enough these days to have the cast renegotiating contracts, and I don't see it lasting more than the standard 7 year contract she probably signed. But as a new mother I could see her wanting to lessen her load a bit. I'll bet that was part of why he was sent out to hammer home…
I actually think Zooey did a much better version of someone 'on the spectrum' than her sister does. Not a fair comparison since she doesn't have to spread it out over 150 episodes, but still.
