Funny, I thought the structure of the MM episode was super sharp, but it whiffed on too many of the laughs. That said, they went for so many, it still makes for its fair share.

Adorkable? I just think she's hot.
Perfect show for binge watching. Got really sick once and made it through something like 30 episodes over a weekend. Not as dangerously addictive as early 24, but immensely watchable.
The only reason I feel a little bad about giving up on Mindy midway last year. Not enough to make me regret it, but maybe once Newsroom ends, I might.
As loose as it feels, there have been some things put into motion. Cece going to school, Winston becoming a cop, Schmidt's goal to regain financial success. They even have us pointed towards Jess' dad getting married later in the season, and I'm guessing some significant stuff might arise then. My bet is, not…
The show does sincerity very well, but I do think they want to just have fun for a while. I'm certain those grounded moments will be plentiful when they start introducing some genuine stakes, but they don't have to crowd every episode.
I don't even remember specifics at the moment, but I feel like at least 1-2 times every episode I find myself totally impressed with Deschanel's reactions to things.
I feel like Nick's largely been too content with his station in life for too long. Perhaps a lot of that was due to having Jess, but now that that's over, it's a good time to get back into some direction for his character. Not something that should be tidily addressed in a single episode, but it's good to crack the…
Rompers are pretty terrible…
Stopped watching this show a while back, but I had to check this review to see if this weeks title was a knowing wink to just about every cold open I ever saw. This I did not expect…
The show plummeted from a 2.8 to a 1.2 with Nick and Jess together. Using your ratings logic, they should never even consider looking back to them. Luckily, there is more at play than that specific logic. And for every Nick and Jess shipper now hoping the show fails without them, there is a fan that loves the…
Just noticed the changed the title of this one. Not surprised, I suppose, and the title didn't really add or subtract from the episode. Still.
Little surprised to be saying this, but I'm really starting to dig the (comparatively) bang-free Zooey…
The AV Club headlines got a little more snark to them than usual today, or is it just me?
I enjoyed American Gothic, but my guess is it wouldnt hold up. Northern Exposure had its out there moments but was, of course, nowhere near as intense. Picket Fences, too.
"Yikes, the teasers are bad. But, there seem to be a lot of people I really like turning out to take part in this thing, so how bad could it be? " - I may or may not have copy/pasted this comment directly from a preview of 'Dads' about this time last year…
I know what he actually said, but somehow my brain heard 'SpongeBob'. It really was a solid gag.
You could just stream the 470 commercials she's in. I'm sure she's got her own youtube channel.
Coach is very goal oriented…
Quite liked that the age difference was never really an issue. Jess totally put her misgivings aside until she thought her dad was going to get hurt. Subtle spin on the trope that kept it from being stale.
