Airing it after TBBT reruns on TBS will give New Girl the strongest regular lead in it's had in years. This really isn't even hyperbole.

Don't know who this guy it, which in itself, isn't a problem. But I thought on first glace the pic was Eddie Izzard, which I would've quite looked forward to. So I'm a left a little bummed.
Yes. I also feel in the UK version, he would, on occasion, find a restaurant that he kind of liked that just needed some tweaking. It also seemed there wre a bunch of once successful restaurants that just sort of fell on bad days, or weren't really sure how to keep up with the times. The US version was just him…
I don't understand how people that are 'romantics' can have any time for a show like The Bachelor. As pretty as the view is from the restaurant, isn't the fact that Dude is on a date with 20 other women in itself less than ideal?
You know, The West Wing was always quite funny. Northern Exposure and Picket Fences, too. All best drama winners and nominees. I know this isn't the most significant award (what is anymore?) but I feel like a line should be drawn. A show like OITNB just isn't playing the same game as a show like Community. Even…
To sort of put a bittersweet period on my post, I haven't watched this episode yet. Didn't know it was on. I was relieved to see that my DVR is still picking it up and I'm looking forward to seeing it. Again, I think the "right" show got renewed, if that makes sense. I just enjoyed Enlisted more week to week. And…
With apologies to those who shower Brooklyn Nine Nine with unfailing praise, I feel this was truly the best new comedy of 2014. The humor is more frantic, less predictable, and has a higher batting average. And the heart is, at minimum, equal. I'm not saying the right show didn't get renewed (B99 I think always had…
Is it too late to get Jim Dale to narrate this? Tonally it might not fit, but I'd be down.
EW got something right? You know, I thought I saw a locust in the yard today. Here we go…
Sweet. More reality, more procedurals, and more unfunny sitcoms for Fox, then. Can't wait… to start reading more. Been meaning to do it anyway.
Sleepy Hollow benefitted a bit from not airing in the spring, but coming back in the fall paired with Gotham should prevent a Following type ratings tumble in its sophomore year.
I think 99 should be safe. It'll get a boost from the Sunday slate of football, Simpsons, and Family Guy. Should get caught up in that wake and see improved ratings by default.
I liked the show and all, but all the retooling kind of had me forgetting about it most weeks. Too much SNL by the end made the tone way more silly than clever more often than not. Though the (sad) recent availability of Ryan Shay would have had me looking forward to a fourth season, for sure
Would another net really pick up How I Met Your Dad? I was under the impression it was a multi-cam. If not on CBS, where do we keep those? TBS?
Very sad to see this go. Bradley Whitford needs to find a spot on my TV for more than one season. Trophy Wife, The Good Guys, Studio 60… all imperfect, but all deserved more than they got. I guess the West Wing is on Netflix, anyway…
Yeah, I don't see how this isn't a Win for B99. Thought forcing Glee into the equation and airing something like 3 new episodes of New Girl over the last 2 months of the season was only asking for trouble. Question is, how does Fox gauge B99s success going forward? Do they plan to have it carry its own hour…
Just seems a lot of our excitement/enjoyment of Season 4 might hinge on our willingness to act like Nick and Jess never happened.
Yes, but you and I are on the same page about this: I'm not sure why the two must be mutually exclusive. And it kind of feels like we're really only left with the option to ignore Nick and Jess completely, at least for a good while. Now was the time to watch them grieve and deal with (and ideally, explain) the…
It just doesn't seem to bode very well that the writers don't feel they can write Nick and Jess together and still explore the other characters. Actually, it raises all kind of flags. Now that Winston will be in more A plots, say, does that mean Nick is now due to suffer through the majority of season 4 like…
I heard her on the Nerdist before New Girl, and she can be quite natural and engaging. I actually do find her pretty funny at times on certain talkshows and panel type things. She was just on Ferguson and she made me laugh quite a few times.
