Painful confession time: I was initially incredibly judgey about Amber Rose and my teen daughter had to school me on this. We’re a fact-based sex education household, and yes, even so I had all this judgement.

Yup. My toddler is allowed to run around nude or partially nude as much as she wants. We are a pretty naked family at home. I don’t however paint my nipples for stranger pics* and take baby along with me to work...

The black bar over the little girl’s chest is what did it in for me. That mother is clearly sexualizing her child.

Yeah this one is weird. Objectively, no a toddler being topless is not a sexual thing at all, but in the context of this whole thing where these women are certainly being sexualized it is weird.

Of course a toddler’s body shouldn’t be sexualized, but this child’s body was put in an explicitly sexualized context, which is weird and gross. It’s not child porn, but definitely a step below the worst things I’ve seen on Toddlers and Tiaras.

While I’m not angry at the nudity in general, nor I am at the nudity of toddler, this is clearly a sexualized nudity context, so I find it totally inappropriate for a toddler.
