It's gonna be worse than the last (actual?) one. Europe is still the largest consumer market in the World.

GM & Ford are trying to integrate their EU line-ups with their US offerings. I think that GM\Ford engineering centres in EU are among the most valuable in their respective company.

If the Euro is gonna fall apart we will be stuck in a big worldwide recession. It has been shown that BRICs can't keep the world afloat without US\EU growth, for example EU is the first commercial partner for China.

I don't want to sound cocky but I'm quite sure that it does rev-match downshifts.

It isn't true.

In the 70's Abarth was the racing team for Fiat and Lancia. Both Lancia 037 and Lancia Delta S4 were built in collaboration with Abarth. Hence the scorpion on the steering wheel.

I think you english-speaking miss a lot of Markku Alèn's charme. He wasn't the fastest driver at his times (Toivonen, Kankkunen and maybe Rohlr were better) but he is one of the most funny\entertaining\down-to-earth rallye driver ever. His interviews were epic for example:

Apart from Audi Quattro, this is my favourite one.

Sometimes he goes to hospitals to visit recently amputees in order to convince them not to give up. And have I already mentioned his overtaking at laguna seca? :D

Alex Zanardi.

Bobsleigh?!? :D

ski-rack ftw!

If you want something exotic with plenty of space and good traction 911 turbo\ turbo s is the answer!

+ 1 though I think Lancia Fulvia Coupe is more "italian".
