I thought the deal was for both sides to use Spidey indefinitely. So, Marvel can add him to avenger/group films, and Sony can keep him for feature films.

Really think Marvel did themselves a disservice by helping Sony to revive Spiderman. Had they not stepped in, they would've been looking to get the film rights back within 10 years. Now, they'll have to wait another ten years.
