I still have fondness for 4e. Every character could contribute something to combats. I do agree that fights took a long time especially at lower levels.

I think it’s even better to move away from that mentality with the mainstream appeal of MMO’s. It causes first time table top players to go in expecting the MMO approach. “Clerics have healing spells, which means they do nothing but heal”, for instance, and that couldn’t be the furthest thing from the truth.
Maybe if you don’t want games to be mostly combat you shouldn’t play Dungeons and Dragons; a game about people getting into fights.
I would actually love the next edition to be a mix of the simplicity in mechanics of 5e,wirh things like spell slots and advantage, and going back to some of the lethality of 1e and 2e. Back when if you failed a spell, your character could just be put into a critical position.
I doubt Anthem will be better, the game is getting abandoned by BioWare by the looks of it.
truer words have not been spoken this day. Ive got friends that have worked on ESO from the start and some of the stories...oh my.
I bought it at launch and left disgusted it was so messy. came back about three months ago and it’s improved greatly

Legitimately everybody who has ever been on a Nintendo console who I have ever wanted in Smash is here.
How many above board ways of doing that are there?
It’s also disappointing that there are people so desperate for a few minutes of internet fame that they want to ruin the work put into making exciting E3 showcases
Are you serious with this? Nintendo is entitled to protect their intellectual properties how they see fit, in accordance with the law. Having their lawyer contact someone who is leaking trade secrets is well, well within this purview.
Oh yes.
Finally, a video that belongs on Deadspin.
Basically:
Except it is. She gave them every opportunity not to get executed and they refused. It was their choice. By following through, she sent a message that she means business, and will likely prevent scores more deaths.
...it was originally (and still is) a spiritual practice. Yeah it has health benefits, but that’s like saying “church was cool but they talked about the bible a bit too much.”
But it is not pointless to kristin.
I think he is a fiscal responsibility true believer.
