Which I’m sure was cancelled because the game had such high demand from the people. Microsoft was gonna make a bajillion dollars off of it but couldn’t handle it.

Yup, and a bunch of new gamers literally grew up with it and it in turn inspired games that the new generation of gamers grew up with (fortnite). 

My sake? Didn’t get a PS4 and the PS5 being backwards compatible means I can borrow my friends/siblings old PS4 games and play em without having to pay for them. Could do the same for the PS4 now but if I’m going to get it sooner or later might as well be while I’m stuck at home!

I used to in college. I was part of a club that would show movies on the campus and every so often we would just go ham and spend the night in the movie theater. Get drunk play some smash and mario kart, do a scavenger hunt, and end the night playing rock band with some karoake.

This is where I let people know how bad I am at finishing video games. My list is 1) Pillars of Eternity, 2) Pokemon Omega Ruby, 3) Fire Emblem Fates, 4) Shin Megami 4, 5) Fallout 4, 6) Transistor, Xcom 2, Far Cry.... 3...., 7) Dishonored, 8) Xenoblades... the Wii Version, 9) Dragon’s Dogma, 10) The Witcher.

I kinda read it along with the “making pokemon more viable for competition “ as them retooling everything and not wanting to commit to a timeline or even a public plan of action. If that is the case I can see them doing it piecemeal until they hit the sweet spot. 

Or Football/Baseball where the other team can not only take a time-out but take their sweet fucking time in play. Like in an ideal situation a football team can kill a whole quarter of play, and I’ve been to games where the winning team took like 8 minutes of playtime before punting it off.

Flipside I have some friends who want the switch only for something to do on trainrides/travelling and have absolutely no interest in ever using it docked.

Yup! I’m one of em. 90% of my playtime comes when I’m in bed or not at home. The 10% is when I go to social events and my friends want to play Mario Kart, Party, Jackbox, or Smash. Ended up just buying a 2nd charging cable and left the dock, gamecube controllers, etc in my car trunk.

Also let’s not forget hate crimes.
