I would disagree and mention borderlands as my example. Nobody has a problem with the loot in its expansions or it raising the level cap. And Destiny is pretty much borderlands but with better gunplay and larger levels.

Agreed. There are only 2 companies I will ever pre-order from: Nintendo and FirAxis. And those two because I consider them to be the only two reliable game makers and I know whatever they put out will be bang for my buck.

Honestly, I treat video game reviews the same way I treat movie reviews. If I see people reviewing it a week(s) early? Awesome. Week of? That's cool. But 11:59 pm the day before and no reviews at all? Hard Pass. If the publisher isn't going to give the film/game a vote of confidence than neither will I.
