@jaybomb: the squier you buy in janurary won't do anything in Rock band 3. The squier being developed for rock band has 108 unique ssensors on it to detect where you hold the strings and which string you strum. It's more of a hybrid electric/midi guitar.

@NarooN: The mustang is already out the initial shipment sold out months ago though so most people can only grab it in november when teh second batch ships.

@Salari: You're missing a few things. Rock band 3 supports a real midi guitar that Mad Catz has made and a fender squier with electronics that is a real 6 six string guitar.
