This was actually an ad for their new sitcom, “Triumph of the Will and Grace.”

HP 12c? Did you also bring a green visor and offer the dealer a hard candy. Did you refer to him as a ‘whipper snapper’? Get with it man and use a TI BA II.

I don’t play games with offers in terms of the payment info.

We are negotiating the price of the car..... the taxes, etc will be what they are (and I have already pre-determined that I can afford them). I have already thought about what term I want, and know my credit score back to front so I know what tier of rates I

It’s not a 1/3 cut, it’s being offered to 1/3. I’m sure GM doesn’t expect the take rate to be anything near 100%. Not sure what GM’s goal is, but the typical take-rate on voluntary buyouts is 10-15%.

My parents (who are admittedly Luddites) also have a Ford Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid. They like it except for three things: 1. They wish it had a 30 mile instead of 20 mile range. 2. Make Automobiles Great Again!

If that happens, maybe they’ll go into a bankruptcy cocoon and emerge as something else.

Star for contemplation before posting. Set the example.

2nd Gear: I was about to post a snarky comment about how I bought a nicely loaded Ranger XLT in ‘98 for $18k, then I remembered I should run it through an inflation calculator first. The result: $27,876.

Mechanix. The plain, boring original. They fit well, they put up with a season’s worth of abuse and you don’t have to feel bad if one day you unexpectedly have to bork them up enough to just toss them in the trash. The perfect mix of functional/robust/disposable.
