Wait, what? The F-150 has advanced an incredible amount. Ford has been the one getting knocked for trying new things. Aluminum, turbos, V6. All of these things have been dogged on but have been incredible advancements in pickup truck technology. They’re the ones on the front edge of the technological boundary.

But what’s certain is that Detroit’s missing out on $104 million it would’ve had going forward, if Ford paid the cost itself.

I know freak accident’s happen. A US Navy F-4 Phantom on the USS Forestall experienced a power surge on the aircraft carriers deck and launched rockets into an A-4 Skyhawk that caused a chain reaction that killed 134 Fatalities and almost sunk the Forestall.
