You win the internet today. Congrats :)

IANAEE (I am not an electrical engineer) but it seems to me you could build out battery storage facilities where you have substations today that would serve to regulate the irregular output of renewables like wind. Once you’ve got those in place the various bits of the grid become much more independent and fault…
But the people that buy his schitck don’t know that ...
Again ...Vasyl Lomachenko vs Nicholas Walters. When the previously undefeated Walters quits it sure looks like he’s crying. Jason Sosa was even worse. Sosa also threw in the towel and looked a bit teary eyed (well, what you could see of his eyes at least).
Vasyl Lomachenko. He’s impossible to hit like classic Mayweather ... and brutally accurate and strong as a striker. YouTube that guy’s recent fights/highlights. Watch them and then tell me there’s a better boxer alive (possibly ever).
The may not be able to make a unibody truck shaped like that the more I think about it. The roof of the Ridgeline helps to support the rigidity of the bed. Move that too far forward and now you’ve got a huge percentage of the vehicle without any upper support. Would probably need A LOT of strengthening and…
Not FWD ... FAKE NEWS! SAD!
That’s the issue summed up perfectly. If I have to pay $35k for a midsize that gets 23mpg or I can pay $36 for a fullsize that gets 21mpg ... which is the majority of america going to choose?
GMs now turn their backup lights on whenever you unlock/park or park the vehicle. This make sit look like the car is about to backup when really they just hit unlock on their keyfob. VERY annoying
It gets the left-turners out of the way of the through traffic. Helps during rush hour
Depends on what you wanted to drive and if you were only looking at monthlies and not counting the couple thousand down payment.
Basically this, but black with a red pinstripe that said Turbo 😎
My wife had a 87 (I think) Plymouth Voyager Turbo that we used to win date money with. Was essentially a beer can with a 4 cylinder and a huge hair dryer 😀. That old Plymouth dusted many a stock Mustang and Camaro. The conversation usually went like this...
Call me a bad parent ... but nothing beats a cheap DVD player strapped to the back of your headrest(s) and headphones that fit the kids. We’ll sing, play eye-spy, talk and play games ... but sooner or later they just get bored. Time to break out The Lego Movie and their headphones. As a bonus, then the wife and I…
But loud pipes save lives!!! </sarcasm>
If Nintendo would just make a virtual console that works across devices they couldn’t keep me from throwing hundreds of dollars their way. And by across devices I mean, Wii U / Switch / Future Handheld and MY PHONE.
Why assume that people DON’T need 2 vehicles that can pack kids? I ran into the exact problem you are describing as nonexistent. Needed 2 vehicles that could ferry kids around because the wife and I both work and split daycare ferry duty. TJ had to go because 2 carseats was too big a PITA. 1 carseats was bad, 2…
Makes sense to me. Not hating on either brand, I like their bikes.
When our kiddos were small we really liked those 1/2 floaty 1/2 life jacket things. Goes over the arms and across the stomach and clips in the back. Think they were called Puddle Jumpers or something like that. Seemed to always self right (ie float face up) and impossible for the little farts to slip out of.
20 years makes a huge difference. Excellent vid that illustrates the point. I wonder though ... driving a 1998 vehicle probably isn’t any MORE dangerous today than it was 20 years ago. So I guess you’re just not gaining the benefits of advancements in safety, not driving something that will kill you if you look at…
