My dog’s heartworm medicine is based on his weight for the same reason. Never occured to me to think about regular adult medications in the same way though. Makes sense that someone 2x the weight may need 2x the dosage for the same efficacy. Problem you run into then is how do you sell 1 dose medications? Do you

I’m not sure telling your congressman that “he’s so big he needs 2 viagra” will have the effect you’re looking for ...

My heart breaks for Nicky and his family. Some of the nicest, most down-to-earth people you’d ever meet. They always had time to talk at the GP’s in Indy and treated everyone they ran into like family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nicky (briefly) and his family a couple times at the GP race in Indy. Salt of the earth people. Truly kind, good-hearted and hard working. The last time the race was in Indy we bought a little push-bike from Earl’s race store ... bright green with Kentucky Kid stickers and a 69 number

To be fair ... those drones will “land” with a total power loss as well :)

Same here. They generally don’t smarten up :)

I generally am the one moving the payload. On those maps I’ll usually Reinhardt and just march it forward. Drives the defenders nuts especially if we actually have a healer (having a Bastion is a given).

YUUSSSSSSS!!!!

I see it as basically forced savings. SS payouts are based on how much income you earned and thus how much you paid in. The withholding tax in my mind is almost analogous to a forced 401k that is basically shared by everyone and also helps people on SS disability.

Neutral: I think the ever increasing cost of safety tech sort of mirrors the ever increasing costs in healthcare. (Hear me out ... not political)

When I bought my last Jeep I had to go to 3 different dealerships to order what I wanted. The first two weren’t interested if I didn’t want what was on the lot. So I ended up ordering a JKU, manual trans, dual-top, sport, max-tow (bigger gears) and the optional subwoofer. Oddly Chrysler was out of the 2 paint

I’m just aware of how when I talk with my accent it changes the 1st impression I have on people and have adjusted accordingly. I’m not immune to these biases ... none of us are. We simply have to make certain judgments with limited data. How you speak has a very big impact on your first impression ... I don’t see

It’s not necessarily, or at least not just “sounding white” it’s “not sounding dumb/backwards/like trouble” ... Personally, I’ve had to hide my fairly thick southern accent to be taken seriously in the tech world. When I speak in my normal drawl, the first impression I get is “I bet that guy can fix my

That one sounds pretty easy ...

What Jimmy was saying is you shouldn’t have to be “Jimmy Kimmel” rich to afford to save your baby’s life. He recognizes he can pay for just about anything out of pocket. He also realizes that he’s deep into 1% territory income wise.

Probably common, but driving to a wedding in Columbus OH my then 18 month old daughter got legendarily carsick about 1/2 way up in a parking garage. Every time we made the turn to go up a level she would vomit everywhere. We stopped after the first one and cleaned it up. Then we hit the next turn and she did it

A pro could have MAYBE saved it ... but not if someone was coming the other way. He went in WAY too hot to hold a line in his own lane around a blind corner. Thankfully there wasn’t a vehicle coming the other direction.

Same in Indiana when I was growing up (surely the same today). All I remember about sex ed were the HORRIBLE pictures of what happens if you have premarital sex ONE TIME. In the auditorium. On a screen that was literally 20-25ft high and probably 35-40ft wide.

Congrats! I had to take some time off from DL because I’ve reached a point where my hip hinge isn’t good enough and I’m putting too much on my back due to lack of flexibility and hip strength. Very frustrating because I know I CAN lift heavier ... but not without hurting myself. My form actually isn’t too bad, just

When you’re in shape the quality of your free time goes up a bunch if you’re even a little bit active. Not all hours are created equal. (But yea, I’d take an extra hour at 25 vs an extra day at 75!)
