Oh, this is going to get so many weirdos going off on one about how because Japan does something distasteful in something they are selling to a global audience we can’t criticise it (even though they will criticise the “forced diversity” of titles developed across the world).

We need to hold ALL video games to a higher standard. There is a higher percentage of boring time wasting garbage than their ever has been before.

I was really hoping one of the things would be that they’re releasing a gamepass app for steamOS.

I’m not sure you can tell from up there on your soap box, but a lot of people are certainly able to fully grasp that any adaptation that drives off the central star that made fans enjoy the show is certainly not a good adaptation, and doesn’t “slap”.

Sadly, back pain doesn’t always look a certain way.  As someone who has had their share of back pain it’s not always the laying down or standing up that’s hard -- it’s the transition in between.  Even when the back is acting up, I can still be in pain and hold a conversation.

VAs are increasingly talking about the shit pay they get, I think it’s good for her to continue to add to the conversation. 

can’t wait for the chodes to all rush in defending billion dollar corporations paying their talent poverty peanut wages.

I think its safe to say that the pay for the most important character in a game with an 8-9 figure budget should probably be more than a single entry-level QA tester will make working on the game for 2-3 months.

That’s nuts. I make $4K in two weekends of work doing far less intensive work than voice acting.
