If I remember correctly, it warns you before it just slams on the brakes. I don't think it would just skip the warning stage and go straight to slamming on the brakes. I mean, yes it could fail, but shouldn't it be more than 1 isolated incident.
Unless that Impala had the radar cruise control or pedestrian protection, I'm calling bullshit. Brakes don't just apply themselves, distracted drivers that mistake the brake pedal for the gas pedal cause brakes to apply.
But where's the Gold Badge package?!
Dammit, maybe my dad's 04 Silverado would work then.
I'm very tempted to try and take the keys out of my '94 Safari while it's on. I'm 89% sure it uses a Passlock ignition.
That's pretty awesome.
My dad could pull the keys out of the ignition while he was driving in his 70-something Camaro. Could also start it by pushing on the ignition a little while turning it, without a key.
I see a mixture of Durgano and Dart. You know that thing auto manufactures use called a family face, like BMW's kidneys? That's what their using here. I don't see why it matters if it looks like the Dart or the Durango.
Horses are cool, but are they Italian Stallions?
I'm sorry, but I have to go with the Fox Body, only because my aunt had a Fox Body Cobra and it was the first performance car I ever rode in.
Hey it's my crapcan! (Albeit newer)
I'd rather they bring over the Insignia Wagon and Liftback first.
The base AWD models for the 2008-2010 model years used the Honda 3.5 if I remember correctly.
I don't know where you get off thinking the 458 is ordinary. Anything making 5oo something horsepower from a flat-plane crank V8 that goes 200 miles power hour isn't ordinary or common in any sense. You know what's ordinary? A Camaro SS.
I believe you're confusing hypercars and supercars. The 650S and 458 Italia are considered supercars by just about everyone except you. Now would they be considered hypercars, like the SLR 722 or One:1? No, those are the super rare and expensive cars eligible of being called a hyper car.
My dad's 04 Silverado has never given us a problem. In the 10 years we've owned it all that's needed to be replaced was tires and the oil. Not too much to go wrong in ours though, mostly because the only options it has are power windows and locks, and a radio.
Late 80s, early 90s Safari/Astro vans were offered with a 5 speed stick
From all the ones I toyed around with at the auto show, UConnect was the most intuitive and easy to use.
I thought the Sky/Solstice/GT was american designed and then sent overseas as an Opel. I might be wrong but that's what I thought.
