Per the note on the 996 styling, I’m just wondering: am I the only person who hated 911s until the 991 came out? I just feel as if they NAILED the styling on it now. the proportions just look...right to me. And i love the thin tail lights. To me at least, it’s drop dead sexy in its current form

The price IS steep but I don't think it's naked profiteering. This most likely has a much lower profit margin than a $20 pair of jeans from WalMart.

A few years back I bought (for no reason other than it was <$1000 and needed a car and am an idiot who never buys things that make sense) a Chevrolet P-30 Step Van.

This baby was amazing: bought it [running] for $150 bucks and was by far the most reliable car i'd ever owned up until 2 weeks ago. Made it into a fake, bootleg taxi and took 5 dollar flat rates from drunks. Was a whole lot of fun.
