It’s a very pretty game with a really interesting backstory (lore), but everything else about it is hella mediocre

Remake itself had callbacks to every other compilation entry aside from maybe On the Way to a Smile. Why is it that big of a deal for Rebirth to add one more?

Actual First Soldier game didn’t have any plot to it, outside of an intro cinematic that featured the 3 characters from Ever Crisis (and even that intro didn’t really have any plot)

I literally only play the Borderlands games for the writing, I don't like the gameplay enough to justify them otherwise

New Doctor Strange was great. Thor 4 didn’t come close to Ragnarok but was still far better than Thor 1 and 2. New Antman didn’t blow me away but it was also better than Antman 1 and 2. The only problem with The Marvels was it was too short / rushed.

Has there really been a decline in quality tho? None of the recent releases are any worse than the average release pre-IW. Some have still been amazing, some are just average, but that's always been true in the whole of the MCUs run. Not every release has to he better than what came before.

I just want my fucking Double Decker back. They finally caved and gave the Mexican Pizza back. There’s a few dozen other items I’ve had over the years that they discontinued that would also be infinitely better than most of the other “new” stuff they put out too

The 2D sections of generations played like ass. The 3D segments played alright but were excessively boring

But pretty much everything gets referenced in Remake (aside from maybe On the Way to a Smile?), all to the point of seeming important for what’s to come.

To get the most out of Remake you should REALLY dive into the rest of the compilation first, since it’s a continuation of everything that came before.

But I love tank controls AND the souls series controls >.>

Now see I couldn't get into any Tomb Raider beyond the ones on the original engine because the tank controls were my jam

That’s why I bought my Animal Crossing and MK8 DLC instead of upping my Nintendo Subscription.  Because screw losing access if I decide to cancel
