The Dark Crystal ruined me for years. I was sure that the Skeksis were waiting under my bed to pull me back to their world. 

The movie haunted me as a child, I was sure that there was Skeksis under my bed who would take me away in the night, and though I may be triggered I’m gonna watch the hell out of this.
