Get out of the left lane and that’s fine, but if you are in the fast lane and expecting others to go around you, you are a raging asshole and are not observing the rules of the road.

Then you are specifically breaking the law in several U.S. States. When faster traffic is approaching, you move over. You also are not supposed to sit in the passing lane.
