why the f*ck would you own ketchup? ketchup only goes on fries, and when are you making those at home? my god, are you eating frozen fries? or putting ketchup on eggs?

I’ve put milk in my mug before I pour coffee in for about 5 years now. I have developed a complete disdain for people who don’t do the same thing and waste their time, and occasionally mine, stirring their coffee, not to mention the waste of a stirring utensil.

Shit. “Max and Marcellus” is the best show on ESPN radio by far.

also, i’d love to read a defense of “more time spent staring at smartphone is good”

well, duh, that’s kinda the point.

I cannot understand why people actually want to be part of these unthinking masses. I also cannot believe that people actually want to spend MORE time looking at their phones.

hopefully about two more seconds, tops.

if players are paid to play, and academics drops out of their experience at the university, what purpose does it serve for the sports program to be affiliated at all?

i doubt very many academics would disagree that Berkeley is the premier public university in the US.

that makes absolutely no sense. if you’re going to make them pro athletes, then remove football from the college system altogether and make it officially the minor league that it unofficially already is.

how fun when that fails, or if you lose your voice...

Nope! No goddamned way!

I’ve never wanted anybody to lose at anything harder than a guy who looks like that.

hmm. those are interesting points. i write/edit for a living but i don’t really bring that level of analysis into pieces as a whole. “this is good” “this is bad” “this would make it better” etc., is about all i’ve used since i finished grad school.

honest question: unless this is a writing class where i’m being graded on a particular literary device for some reason, why does that matter? who on earth reads something and then decides the author did it wrong because they didn’t follow a particular device? i’m not sure the critics of this piece (which i didn’t

whatever it is, just make it short
