Don’t know where you live, but in the Bay Area, people are selling first-gen Tacomas with 200,000 miles on them for $10,000.

it’s financial foolishness to deplete your SAVINGS on a car when you can get a 1.9% loan to make payments.

Pretty sure that people mean to type “bummer” not “bumber” or “bumper”

Uh, dude, those people mean to type “bummer.”

In my experience, ANY car that’s only 10 years old at this point, provided it was at least marginally cared for, looks and feels like it’ll last forever. New(er) cars are so much better than they were in years past.

I think the idea that, as a geographic whole, we won’t drive ourselves anymore in 5 or 10 years is hyperbole at best, and stupidity at worst. But if you live in an Uber-heavy area like I do, I can imagine that scenario. I never really took taxis, but I use Uber all the time. I have to drive for my work/hobby, and love

as opposed to angsty, early 20s fem-lit. now that’s real. important. literature.

it’s only insufficient to those who think indiscriminate and ceaseless bomb-dropping is the way to go

basically anything besides dropping expensive bombs from expensive planes that kill all kinds of people who will just see USA/Euro planes killing their friends and family, starting the process all over again, and then we’ve gotten nowhere, so we need to build more expensive bombs, drop them from expensive planes...

I think the popularity of The Walking Dead is easily as horrifying and bad for America as is the popularity of Donald Trump.

because raining down bombs from crazy expensive fighter jets is a stupid way to wage this conflict

what has the world done to you to make you so cruel?

just because you have the money to buy those drinks does not mean that they’re a good idea.

because they don’t need them.

they obviously do not normally need those bombs, so yes, that’s sane spending.

yes, not stockpiling thousands of bombs and missiles that cost millions of $$ is very sane.

so, is this your first election cycle? conservatives, they’re called, and they’ve been around FOR A LONG TIME.

Can anyone please tell me why one would own a sedan, rather than a hatchback, ever? I’ve owned about 12 cars in my life, only one of which was a sedan, a Honda Civic, and I hated how compromised the storage options were. Sold it quickly and bought a 2nd-gen Honda Fit, probably the best urban car ever built.

the stupid reason is that they’re stupid
