On Jezebel, adulerty is only acceptable if you’re leaving a man for a woman. If you’re a man who leaves your wife for another woman, though? You’re soulless garbage with no redeeming qualities.

Who are this “everyone” not believing her? And not believing her in what regard - that the incident happened at all? I see comments pointing out that there seems to be a lot of information missing from the story (which there is) - but nobody claiming that she is lying about the fact that it happened at all. If you

Swing and a miss Chipper. Talking to a Libertarian here. Also an accountant. I like to make numbers make sense. When someone has a different number than me I like to know where their number came from. Go Cards!

I’m super confused about why everyone’s first reaction is to not believe her.

I think it’s missing some parts where Zendaya was a huge pain in the ass and refused to accept information given. Even from her account, I’m getting that impression. I’d like to hear the clerk’s side of it.

Ok....That doesn’t tell me where your number comes from. I’ve looked at the study that said women make $0.78 on the dollar men make. What study/source says women make $0.61 on the dollar men make. You need to show me something. I’m not going to trust the word of an Atlanta Braves fan.

Agree, Zendaya is one of those unreliable teens who is very self righteous about the story she altered in her head.

About halfway through watching this with my wife, I said, “This show appears to be mostly people slowly walking into rooms to have quiet conversations.”

Black people never commit crimes, all good “progressives” know that!

It rubs me the wrong way to immediately jump to she was being racist, since she never brought up race. Most likely she was just a rude ass employee. Assigning her motives and crying to your million followers seems unfair at best.

From what I’ve seen she just seems like an asshole. And she’s upset because someone looked at her askance. No one actually said to her that she didn't have the money...they just looked at her that way. What??

Or she was told that store policy was not to sell however many she wanted in one transaction and she threw a tantrum.

There’s a long history of fabrics being worn in hair in Europe that goes back at least to the 17th century. Threads and string were woven into hair in China from the 14th century.

What culture would that be?

Ehhh, come on. They’re two women who work in the comedy realm and they’re joking around, for Chrissakes. As Lena said in her tweets, the Met story was about her own insecurities, not a dig on Beckham. That’s what she does, guys — pretty much all the time. It’s her schtick.

It's an opportunity to discuss violence and degradation against women of color, sure, but I prefer to do something. Namely, not handing over cash to Nate Parker by seeing this movie.

I think so!

ahhh you are a very wise train
