Had the focus been on how wretched Donald Sr. is, I agree wholeheartedly. But in the first anecdote Jr. comes off as sad and pathetic. The second one is merely the retelling of a story of a couple of violent assholes.

Donald Jr. may indeed be an asshole, but retelling a story about him getting physically abused by his father is a strange way to illustrate it.

That was my thought as well. I mean, I’m sure he was being a dick, and I wasn’t there to see what “too enthusiastically” entailed but I didn’t know laughing at a comic telling an “ethnic” joke is frowned upon if you’re white.
