I don’t know any flight school who will rent a plane without having checked the pilot first on the aircraft. They will also grab a copy of his pilot’s license or driver’s license at the very least - and a credit card. So unless it was stolen or the pilot used a fake identity which I doubt, it will be explainable.

Get the best and most recent GTI you can afford. Be done with it. Second choice would be a CPO S4. They’re fun to drive, plenty of power, couldn’t be easier to drive and they’re quite solid cars mechanically.

Religion, all of them, suffer from a superiority complex. Pretending to have all the answers is a recipe for disaster. Like any form of power standing “above” the masses; it corrupts and erodes the mind. Ask any president, any prime minister or any sain person in a position of power. It commands the utmost respect and

Always had a soft spot for the turbo Z. Always will. Never got to drive one.... Congrats on the restoration and tell us how the car performs.

I’m far from patriotic or sentimental but, from time to time, I see things “made in Québec” that makes me proud to call it home. Start with a blank sheet. Build it. Make it better. If you can earn a living selling it, you have all my admiration.

+ 1 on that, I was born here and still enjoy it daily.

Yes it is. Well I had a good long run. Now with this thread, everybody’s coming up next summer. Thanks man!

One phrase sums up the whole V6 turbo vs V8, especially with the M3.

Eliminating the obvious choices from Germany, I’d say go find a used GS-F from Lexus. In 2016, this is the car that surprised me the most. Great all around car, plenty of power, extremely confortable and bullet proof reliability.

The F35 is a joke. Can’t find nothing else to say.

If you want to “treat” yourself with a Sedan, there’s only one:

Style, luxury, power =

+1 on that. Owned one while I was in college and it’s one of the car I enjoyed driving the most. Super confortable, great handling, pretty light on it’s feet and very reliable, especially with the 4cyl/5mt.

I love the third gen. Funny thing is, I’ve owned an 03 TL Type S and a 14 TL SH-AWD, but I never got to own a third gen, even though it’s my favorite one... and the best looking! Congrats on the mileage and for keeping it going.

The answer is: neither. Get an A4 Quattro S-line. For 30-32K, you’ll find a great one.

If MPG is important to you, get the lowest miles/best condition 335D you can find and be done with it. One of the best all around car available under 20K. Super confortable, awesome torque, fun to drive especially w/ 6MT and great resale value.

I think it happened when I bought my first serious sports bike, a 1997 Honda CBR1100xx Blackbird. They didn’t call the the balckbird for nothing. First production bike to break 300kmh. It was fast but still manageable. Then it happened again when I test drove a 2004 E55 AMG with almost 500hp and just as much torque.

Rewind to 1992, the E36 was a great car compared with its competitors. The 328is was great to drive and was probably the best choice of the whole lineup. I think everything went south when we got the dulled-down version of the M3. Again, go back to 95-96, the european M3 was still the benchmark, it was and still is a

Oh... I could say so many things about the E60 M5 and the E90 M3... It deserves it’s own story... I should take a couple hours to write about it someday... Yes, I’m biased as f*ck, I just love these cars and I believe they are what BMW did best throughout their existence and I’m willing to debate it. I bought an E90

Tell me about it. It’s called, a girlfriend.
