That’s awesome but im way more excited about Rares Twitter announcement of the 2007 Xbox 360 remake finally also being released. Not only are they also going to release it, but it will be further improved from its original 2007 state. Anyways, great news all around.

That’s the exact same feeling i got from the last few E3/Showcases, but instead of Limbo, i felt like everyone was trying to make an Elden Ring/BOTW game mixed with Horizon Zero Dawn. Elden Ring/Zelda-Like open world with a natural environment and a Horizon-like female protagonist fighting robots with animal - like

What you don’t mention is that corporations have become increasingly more aggressive at “trimming the fat” in the last 30 to 20 years (I blame Reagan, Bill, and mostly George W for this, but thats a topic for another day) which is why the middle class is disappearing at a high rate. They reduce salaries, pensions,

Bad comparison. VHS is a technology probably close to 50 years old; so its understandable that is no longer easily accessible. Not fair to compare 50 year old versus 15 PS3 year tech. Plus, one would argue that most VHS titles have become easily available in multiple platforms/formats, with increased quality and for

While proper emulation of the PS3 is definitely not easy, it has been proven (by part time developers sometimes using weaker hardware than the PS5) that it can be done. They have the hardware and the knowledge to do so. Sony probably did a cost vs profit analysis and determined that a cloud solution is “good enough”,

They casually omit the fact that the Switch hardware was already outdated by the time the Switch launched back in 2017 (Tegra X1 CPU when newer iterations whhere already available), and normally the components become increasingly cheaper to produce, so they possibly could have dropped the price of the switch, but

Its cultural, Japan even has phrases or words in the language just to display humility and lack of arrogance. US is the total opposite. Self delusion, arrogance. The land of the famous for being famous.

Graphically speaking, that’s very true, but not gameplay wise. I love the TES series and Skyrim, but it definitely shows its age. I tried to play it for the 100th time recently on MS Gamepass, and i just couldn’t. On the other hand, take a similar game, like Zelda BOTW, and in comparison it feels so much more modern,

Only Capcom has milked a cow more (RE4), but in Capcom’s defense, at least they plan to release a remake before RE4's 20th anniversary in 2025, and they have released tons of great RE sequels and remakes since RE4's release. Bethesda on the other hand, has done very little in 10 years since Skyrim was first released;

While i am aware that Bethesda is a company and at the end of the day, they make the decisions that work best for them as a company; i cannot believe how much time they have wasted on the development of TES6. Its unacceptable. I know Open World games have become increasingly more complex (and costly) to make, but if

While is definitely great, it would be awesome if Microsoft would somehow bring back the 360 era’s blade system. One can only dream.

Comments like this is why the comments section should have an age range/group indicator so at least we can understand how one can post something that salty.

Now that you mention it, the update error only happens with my disc based games. Plus, I am using a mechanical external hard drive, so it could be one or the other...

There’s another bug that also affects PlayStation 4 ganes, that does not seem to be fixed with this release. Basically when a PlayStation 4 game has an update if the game is not currently installed in the local storage, it will fail to update every time, until it’s manually moved to the local storage. Then afterwards

This has become one of my favorite series of articles on the site. Thank you very much for sharing. Please keep em coming!

They missed the point entirely. Instead of beautiful cell shaded graphics, they went for a weird hybrid look, that kinda reminds of that movie called: “Scanner Darkly”. What a shame.

Amen to that. ME 1's outdated engine is why i went in to the rabbit hole that is PC modding. But turns out that the PC version has no controller support, so I gave up. Here’s hoping they actually take the time to improve the game in more ways that only visuals.

Wonderful news that this is finally confirmed. However i truly hope that this is not a simple remaster, and that they actually take time to improve ME 1's gameplay mechanics. That would makes this a perfect edition.

This reminds me of my favorite original soundtrack of all time: R4 Ridge Racer Type 4. Amazing mix of Neo Jazz, and old school electronica. Highly recommend.
