Googone. Not that I would know because I have absolutely NOT ever made a duct tape corset for a fetish party. Nope. Not once.

Wanna know how I found out about this??? Lena Dunham's first tweet about Senator Davis last night. No news coverage at all?! I have MSNBC as my home page for crying out loud. How did I not know about this???? WTF with a CAPITAL WTF? Thanks to everyone who has given all of the play by plays and recaps!
Um, lt. Governor, your job is not "protecting unborn babies." It's representing the will of the people and listening to their opinions respectfully, you know, "the people" like that angry mob that showed up? You might need to look into taking a civics class if you don't know that.
I think she's the parliamentarian—an expert on parliamentary procedure. So. Not necessarily a bitch. Just doing her job.
The parliamentarian or some shit, the expert on procedure and an asshole.
She is the Senate Parliamentarian- Karina Davis, and clearly an awful person.
I used to be one of those passive women about abortion; you know the "I get where you're coming from, but I just don't know if that's right for everyone" bland don't-want-to-ruffle-any-feathers girl.
Oh my goodness, y'all. I was in the senate chamber until we were starting to get cleared, which was probably around 12:30AM? I can't articulate how incredible it was. This is the stuff you read about in 9th grade American History and don't quite grasp the gravity of until you find yourself a part of it. My hands are…
It is very funny that today in Texas, many male GOP lawmakers are calling the actions of the so called mob "shameful." One even compared them to the rioters in the French Revolution! Cracking me up. The "shameful" fact is that women had to do this to protect themselves in Texas!
OMG, those EARS, those EARS!!!
LOOK AT HIS WIDDLE EARS!!! *steals kitteh*
No way, screw the haters on this one. I unabashedly love this damned movie. It's not the book, and that's a shame, but it's still entertaining. Van Dien's actually kind of good, the action's solid, and the bugs look awesome.
Watchmen. It was an amazing adaptation of the book. Sadly American audiences can't handle giant blue penis for the sake of a good story.
2001:A Space Odyssey and the sequel books did all the explaining one would need.
There's a lot to choose from, but seeing as a few others have posted Dredd, I'm going with Strange Days. It really will probably be a love it or hate it film for a lot of people. I think it is awesome, while not ignoring its problems. Given that it's an SF film set in 1999, it is probably best viewed now as an…
Y'know, I just saw someone get a really snarky response to their "Am I the only one who..." comment on the Pacific Rim post, but I think, in this case, I wouldn't be surprised to learn no snark was required, and that you may, in fact, truly be the only one.
Buckaroo. Could have been a hell of a series.
according to boxofficemojo:
I couldn't agree with you more. I tried to give Janelle a good listen, and I found her too hit or miss. I know people who adore her, but I wonder if it's one of those quirky style over substance things. Not quite like Kelis... but a little bit like Kelis?
