That is great stuff.

I agree that the (secondary market/restaurant) prices for Pappy are ridiculous, in that there is plenty of other great bourbon out there for far less. But it’s still damn delicious, especially if you are a fan of wheated bourbons (the 12-year “Lot B” is my favorite of the Van Winkle line).

Yeah. Weirdly, I have an easier time with cask strength Islays than bourbons. The 114 is still great stuff, though. Makes a cocktail that’ll knock your teeth in.

Also, I like that OGD is literally just a younger Basil Hayden (the namesake of OGD) for half the price.

I have. I buy it when I see it and otherwise stock bonded as a mixer. It’s great stuff. But I don’t like it as much neat.
