I would agree RM got a lot of fortunate CL draws the last couple years, but let’s not get carried away. They played Atleti twice and Juventus in their 3 CL finals in the last 4 years. Atleti knocked out Barcelona in 2016 and Juventus did the same in 2017. I wouldn’t call any of those teams easy matchups for the finals.

Worth every cent? There are no other realistic suitors, and certainly nobody else talking about a 100m+ transfer fee. Barcelona are bidding against themselves, like they did with the Dembele deal.
