Oh agreed. My point was in reference to the greater handling and power cited by the original poster. Any power gains have to be compared to the performance losses associated with a diesel engine and the way it necessarily is constructed.

I believe the wheels fall off at about 40,000 miles. ;)

Being able to depend on it. Driving a car and wondering when it’s going to break down or what’s going to fall off makes driving more stressful than fun.

We have a guy who repairs lawn mowers and he’s the most popular guy in the neighborhood. I’ve heard nothing about his garage and the large number of mowers, of all types, in his driveway. It’s as if these moronic neighbors don’t know a good thing when they see it!

SiriusXM satellite radio is a godsend. Sure, you’ve already got most of the music that you like on your iPod, but you can try new things on Sirius. It may surprise you. Different kinds of comedy, sports, music styles, talk shows. You find some weird shit. Some of it really cool, too. Weird and new trumps boredom.
