So here is my question. A friend of mine has a 2012 Roush Musting that puts out something like 650HP. It is just way too much power for the chassis. It can’t put it all to the ground without the rear end wagging all over the place.

Of course they want to make a profit, however they knew they were investing in a long shot. So I won’t feel bad for them if they end up with a loss.

I’d argue that even if Tesla goes out of business, tomorrow they still succeeded. When Musk started Tesla, he did it because no one was inventing in electrification. You had the Toyota Prius and that was it. Now every automaker is investing heavily in electrification. I would say that he succeeded.

My Miata had one of those keys. I use the past tense, because I lost the damn thing at the gym because it wouldn’t fit on my key ring. For the past 2 years I’ve been using the physical key the locksmith made for me. Eventually I’ll convince myself to spend the $350 the dealer want for a replacement.

I really want a system like this on my next car. I take several 9+ hour road trips a year to go visit my parents. It is a boring drive and nothing can make it exciting. Would be nice to have the car help out on that drive and I could focus on something more interesting. Like doing my taxes in head.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. Any landing where you can reuse the aircraft is a great landing.
