Fun game, but its length is determined entirely on how far you’re carried by the combat. You can beat the story and get all the weapons and abilities in a leisurely 12ish hours. May replay it on the hardest mode instead of next to hardest.

I suggest pokemon #606 Beheeyem. It appeared 50 years ago in the desert, supposedly part of a UFO crash. It communicates with light up, colored fingers, and uses its powers to alter memories and squeeze enemies brains.

That's honestly what made me stop playing. 80% of CCGs are deck building, so playing against people who just bought professional net decks was both boring and lame. 

Pretty annoying, but it ends up being ambient noise and not bothering me fairly quickly. You don't have to have them though, theres even one class that gets tons of bonuses being alone.
