Well locking your Online Pass to a single gamertag in a household of 4 gamertags and four 360s CHEATS my family of enjoying the game when, where and as who we want. Add Ubisoft to the companies that we don't buy new from - EVER.

@campbell000: Yeah, fine its a service but I don't have just one account, one console and one tv in my house. Does every member of my family need to buy the 'online pass' to play a game I bought? That is the case with EAs titles and if that is such a case then I pass.

On average you will pay $0.15-0.20 per GB with a 2.5" drive. The 250GB 360 hard drive is a 100% markup costing $0.52/GB. That is a far cry from the $1.5/GB that the original 120GB 360 drive cost but still an utter rip-off. I guess we know why MS gimped the new USB attached storage option.

@thaswizz: I think we are safe from seeing MS attempt this kind of 'online-pass' for now. They would have a PR nightmare on their hands if trying to double dip on gold memberships + an online pass. Still, if this practice becomes the norm then don't put it past MS to adopt it. For now though, I think MS will just go…

@Swirlbeard: If you do not care about the online portion of the game then do all gamers a favor and please buy used. Do not activate the $10 online pass and make sure THQ never sees not a dime of profits from your enjoyment of their game. Help games take gaming back.

I will not buy a game locked to a one-use code.

A 1.5GB madden demo is downloaded once. @KaneRobot: I have to agree. Reach isn't taking the Halo games to an all new level but htey are adding some nice new additions and with Bungie you know those additions will have undergone some maticulous balancing. Maybe not perfect but far from what we see from COD.

Used to have the BlockBuster plan when you could exchange an unlimited amount of mailed DVDs for in-store movies (or discounted games). They capped the number you could exchange and I dropped the service.

Sounds like some nice new ideas with the lack of time to implement and tune them properly. I think this is the year I skip Madden and hope for a more polished version of everything next year.
