Geographical ignorance aside, how the fuck is God gonna protect people who are already dead? Besides, I thought that was the job of all the good guys with guns.

Trump already criminalized (not just banned, but criminalized) bump-stocks, something the 2A folks would have burned the White House down for if Obama did it.

My cousin’s boyfriend told me once that Dudebros who drive lifted F-350s on 24s actually take their trucks offroad and haul stuff with them.

I’ll bet Chevrolet would love nothing better than to have the new C8 associated with anything but aging boomers who drive 1500 miles a year, JS.

You forgot the /s

Yup. I’m definitely on the lower-end of the middle class spectrum. I’m also single and have zero dependents, so I do not qualify for any sort of government assistance. An extra $1000 a month would not be enough to quit working, but it would be enough for me to stop being tied to a job I don’t like just so I can keep

Article: “Andrew Yang wins and Biden sucked”.

Right. Foreign companies don’t exist to make a profit. Thanks for reminding me about those evil American Capitalist pigs.

Because Trump and Bernie are big protectionists.

From this point forward, we need to start pricing these supercars in C8s. For example, this car is 4.35 C8s.

Yeah, I ultimately would like us to buy US and Union-made vehicles. By all accounts, Mercedes takes good care of their employees, the Japanese brands, not so much. Small steps, I guess.

I don’t know, I don’t cross-shop BMWs. I currently have a CTS wagon and a Corvette, made in Lansing and Bowling Green, respectively.

Great. Make sure you buy those models. I only said US-made, not US brand.

Regarding the first part, I mean manufactured here. Ultimately, I’d love it to be just “American” brands, as they tend to treat their employees a bit better, but I’ll take what I can get. When it comes to the Trump and Bernie fans, I’m a little less forgiving because both of those guys make a big stink about their

I’m in Michigan and I see people I grew up with flying the Confederate flag and I’m like, “when did you live in the South?”.

FIATs for everyone!

That’s fine, but we’ll never make any headway in bringing back manufacturing if we don’t buy products made here. It’s a choice that we have to make. The alternative is to have the government force us to do it, which, even though we’re doing it now, doesn’t seem to be the popular option.

I’ve seen Trump stickers on plenty of foreign car brands. I just saw a new-ish Lexus Behemoth littered with them. The point is that both guys are protectionists and it just seems ironic their supporters don’t put their money where their mouth is.

I’m not suggesting anyone force anyone to do anything. I suggested a market-based solution.

There’s only one way manufacturers are going to build more cars in the US, and that’s when consumers make a concerted effort to purchase US-made cars; You can’t have it six ways from Sunday (I’m definitely looking at you, Trumpers and Bernie supporters who have their stickers all over your foreign cars).
