IIRC, courts can invalidate NDAs and they cannot be used to conceal illegal behavior. It’s time to spill your guts, Ms. Wolkoff.

WiFi Sensitivity, Electromagnetic Sensitivity, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, and other vague environmental sensitives. Which, to be fair, are psychosomatic. I haven’t seen the show though so I can’t comment on how Netflix handled the subject matter.

...so what are the conditions?

I find the whole following thing on the Sussex Instagram to be strange. I rarely if ever check who a celeb is following and I imagine a lot of people are the same way, so them changing it each month doesn't have impact for me.

Yeah, James Corben? Taylor Swift? Rebel Wilson? wtf?! No thanks.

I watched a video recently and someone pointed out that the issue with it isn’t the effects, which are technically great, it’s the art direction. Looking at it again I think they’re right. Maybe this is something that looked good on paper and just didn’t make the transition. The stage design in the show looks a lot

As am I, though I’m not sure for the same reasons. I thought the play absolutely sucked and have no idea why it lasted as long as it did. That said, why take a sucky play and make it into a movie, let alone an awkward CGI movie.

The problem is that a warning the triggers *everytime* will soon just become background noise.

Does she have a sister?

No, she makes me uncomfortable too. Kids experiment with styles and personalities and they change from day to day. A 13-year-old girl might as well be a different species when she’s 16. Jojo Siwa is an extreme case of arrested development and it’s most likely the adults that are making money from her that’s pushing

I don’t think I’d categorize JoJo as an influencer; to me, that’s a person (often a woman) who has built their own audience, figured out and does their own marketing and sponsorship relationships, and is generally self made and a solo operator.

Yeah it’s not like she personally tweeted about being upset that her successful sitcom got renewed or anything......

The “Did we just become best friends?” line was a reference to Step Brothers. I think it was more that after an intense moment, he was trying to introduce some levity by referencing a movie about how two people bond in a silly way. Really, he was deflecting more than he was connecting after their bonding moment.

Probably especially if you are a minority.  Asian woman might be a particularly appealing combination as there will be so many white male conservatives with a hard-on for her.

My thought as well. If he’d focused on how he felt and wished he had been treated, we’d all be here shitting on him for being so self-absorbed and sounding like some sort of sympathizer with sexual assault perpetrators.

I am actually very curious how someone in Ansari’s position could really own up or say something that would really appease us. It just seems like someone in this position is relatively doomed (rightfully or wrongfully—I’m not making a judgement on that): anything he said would probably have not been enough. And that’s

Good review. I agree he maybe could’ve gone a little further, explaining how he (hopefully) now understands the difference between just getting consent and getting enthusiastic consent (the idea that of course no means no, but also yes means yes), and somehow making that funny.

So if they’re spending all this money on coaching and competitions, they’re from backgrounds that don’t need the scholarships. How American.

I was afraid people were gonna get mad at me for saying it so I’m glad someone else did. He’s had alcohol issues for a LONG time. The end of the show might have put him in crisis but I think people are a little naive about how alcoholism works.
