Thaaaank you, I do not understand why so many people think that Allen & Son is the greatest barbecue ever. It’s just not that good, and far from the best in The Triangle. I think it’s time for a Jalopnik Triangle area BBQ meet-up, but definitely not at Allen & Son

Poor sad Colonial Inn.

Just like toilets, the bases are run in the opposite direction in the Southern Hemisphere.

Only problem is replay officials don't have access to snapchat. All the cameras at duke are on one side of the field. This is an angle the replay officials will never see.

It's a very common complaint about playing on Wallace Wade that all the cameras are on one side. It just finally effected a replay that went against duke. So for all the people posting the picture of the knee being down, that's not a screenshot from tv and is something the replay official would never be able to see.

Rented a car in Brazil several times, only ever been asked to see my IDP once. Pretty much a waste of $15. But I did get to drive this around for a few days.

Needs more horns on the hood.

Mmm, I love the smell of formaldehyde in the morning

You live in the Raleigh-Durham area now, perhaps it’s time for a field trip to Johnston County. I’m sure we can find somebody there to try this with.

As you’ve said there’s no point in directly notifying an embassy of your travel plans, never mind physically going to an embassy to let them know you’re in the country. Currently that State Department runs a program called Smart Traveler Enrollment Program, https://step.state.gov/step/, that allows you to register

Most cars I’ve driven you can be at idle and get it going. My current car, ‘08 Mazda 3 idles at about 750 and you can get it going on flat ground just letting the clutch out slowly.

This right here. I learned by being in a flat parking lot, not even touching the gas, and just slowly letting the clutch out to get a feel for when it starts to grip. Once you’ve got that you can start giving it more gas, no reason to be at 3000 rpm right off the bat.

That’s how I learned too. 1994 Geo Prizm, no tachometer only the sound of the engine.

Not owned by Nike but very much related to the article is Michael Jordan’s Private Jet. Great registration number, too.

That situation is one of my biggest automotive pet peeves, especially when they’re clearly marked on the pavement and signs hanging next to the traffic lights.

Somebody in my office has one, I use the lower entrance to the parking deck so I don’t have to look at it everyday.

You can see it the video the bus is passing parked cars. Where they stopped appears to be a break in the parked cars. And as already said it doesn't matter, passing a stopped school bus is passing stopped school bus.

Should I be expecting to see more Chapel Hill in your reviews? I wonder what the Carrboro hippies think of a bright yellow Mustang.

Probably just poor memory after driving his motorcycle into a wall at 70mph.
