I use spiced rum. I’m not a big drinker, but I do enjoy my holiday eggnog. I mean, it’s essentially just unfrozen ice cream, or unbaked crème brûlée. Both things that are delicious.

I get that there’s less incentive to sell an EV, but it seems to me it’d be better to help the customer buy what they want instead of letting them walk and go to someone else.

One of life’s greatest mysteries is how little car salespeople know about the products they sell.

My point is that a the typical person can’t save for it. Half of American families can’t afford an unexpected $400 expense.  You attribute it to poor spending habits; well, back that up with some data.

If you are busting your ass at a dead end job, that is on you. Get a better job.

You’re the one that implied normal people could afford a $3,800 hotel stay for a 19 day vacation.

So... normal people can’t afford 19 days off work and $3,800 in hotels?  Your argument is changing...

I know this may come as a surprise, but not everyone makes great money despite busting their ass at their dead-end job for 20 years. There are LOTS of people who don’t make great money, and thus struggle to do much less than go on a 19 day vacation.

No, they never do, and they’re always disruptive to their host cities for months surrounding the actual date - that includes Albert Park, Baku, and Jeddah, and even Miami and Villeneuve interrupt some aspect of publicly used areas. But it’s fine if they get the opportunity to bring up the problem which then shines a

how tf do you think $200/night, let alone $200/night for 19 nights is normal for normal people? How fuckin delusional are you?

Have you stayed in Las Vegas recently? It has changed a lot over the past decade as the casinos realized they didn’t need to make things like food, drinks, and rooms cheaper to attract gamblers. This was only accelerated post-pandemic.

I triple-dog-dare you to say that to ANY casino bouncer in Clark County. Film it, please.

Look, I don’t want to be annoying about it, but RE4 has no business being up for game of the year. It’s a fantastic facelife, but it isn’t a new game. The same goes for Deadspace (which, FWIW, I think was always a more interesting action horror game than RE4), and I’m glad that one didn’t get nominated.

You don’t know much about Vegas, only what the media shows you. Many people live there because of the cost of living (no state income tax being a big benefit) and many other reasons that have zero to do with the hospitality industry.

Who the fuck can even afford to stay in a hotel for 19 days anyways?

When David Foxx reached out to Jalopnik, he was on his 10th day of a 19-day vacation

Wait, Snow’s meant to be 18? I know Hollywood has a long history of casting older actors to play teenagers, but this guy’s 28 and looks 35.

The funny thing about all this shit is that he’s such an ego-maniac that he basically did all of this to himself. He just can’t fucking let it go (it being any criticism whatsoever). So he overpaid for the platform that was mocking him to try to get the last laugh (a la Trump running for President after he was mocked

Computer man sad.
